Materials ManagementInventory ManagementInventory Management provides the key functions necessary to update and maintain raw materials, WIP and finished goods inventory quantities and costs. When a new job is entered through the Job Management module or generated from Order Management, the material requirements create inventory allocations.These allocations are relieved as inventory items are issued to the job, or as purchase order receipts for purchased items are posted. Issued inventory reduces inventory quantities on hand, which are continually replenished through the processing of purchased or manufactured item receipts into inventory. Receipt processing provides a continual update of inventory average and lost costs, maintained for every item. A variety of screen inquiries, including Part Tracker and printed reports, provide extensive management analysis in the areas of material requirements planning, shortage monitoring, reorder analysis, stock status, valuation and critical items.
Shipping/ReceivingShipping/Receiving provides a central application within Vantage to monitor incoming and outgoing items, whether it is shipments against an order, sending subcontract parts to a vendor, receiving raw material from a purchase order to a job or into inventory, or filling an order from stock. All activity relating to shipments and receipts can be performed and tracked through this module. On-line transaction processing promotes efficiency and ease of use, while on-line editing promotes accuracy. With Shipping/ Receiving, a consistent interface processes all shipments and receipts in an efficient, accurate, cost-effective and profitable manner.
Advanced Shipping ManagementVantage offers two options for streamlining your shipping processes: ExpressShip, and Advanced Shipping Management. ExpressShip Advanced Shipping Management Standard Carriers Billing Options Supplier Relationship ManagementThe Supplier Relationship Management module provides a tool for purchasing agents or quoters to request quotes for raw materials or subcontract services from one or multiple vendors. Request for Quotations (RFQs) are generated with one or more lines, each line having the ability to request pricing from one or more vendors. An internal worksheet may be reviewed prior to sending the RFQ form out via mail, e-mail or fax. Vendor RFQ responses automatically build or add to existing part pricebreak tables, with current effectivity dates to be used in other Vantage modules. With Supplier Relationship Management, you can promote efficiency and accuracy in your material purchasing and be more responsive to customer quotations.
Purchasing ManagementPurchase Management handles purchase order writing and the tracking of vendor performance. Detailed line items With Purchase Management, you can reduce inventory levels, improve on-time deliveries, enhance your cash flow and increase your profit levels.
Advanced Materials ManagementWith Advanced Material Management (AMM), manufacturers gain advanced inventory tracking capabilities. AMM enables manufacturers to produce electronic requests for materials, dispatch those materials, and track inventory movements of all inventory including raw materials and work-inprocess. Using wireless terminals and bar-coding technology, manufacturers are able to track inventory in real-time. A manufacturer using Vantage now has complete control and visibility of raw materials and work-in-process as it travels throughout the enterprise.
